These terms govern your use of elegantbeautyoutlet.com and anything you buy from us. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, ask us before you order rather than after.

By placing an order you accept these terms.

1. Who we are

Elegant Beauty Outlet is a family-run business based at 215 Prospect Park, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269, USA. We sell authentic beauty products sourced through closeout and overstock channels, and we ship from our own warehouse in Georgia. We also supply trade customers by the case.

2. Who may buy

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm the payment method is yours to use.

3. Products, descriptions and availability

We describe what we sell as accurately as we can, including size, formulation and condition. Photographs are representative; manufacturers change packaging without notice, and the carton you receive may not match the photograph exactly. The product inside will be what the listing says it is.

Stock is finite and often unrepeatable. A listing is not a promise that we can restock it.

4. Authenticity

Everything we sell is genuine product, in its original retail packaging, sourced through closeout and overstock channels rather than grey-market resellers. We do not sell testers, refills or decants, and we do not sell counterfeits. If a listing does not say otherwise, what arrives is the full retail item.

Every item is inspected before listing: seals confirmed, batch codes and dates recorded, sets counted piece by piece. Anything opened, damaged, incomplete or close to the end of its shelf life is set aside rather than sold.

If you ever receive something you believe is not genuine, tell us. We will refund it in full and investigate the source, and we would rather know than not.

5. Comparison pricing

We show a crossed-out price next to many items. This section explains exactly what that number is, because a comparison price is only worth anything if you know how it was arrived at.

What the crossed-out price is. It is a real, current price at which the same product — same brand, same size, same formulation — is being offered to the public by a mainstream United States retailer at the time we record it. It is a price you could go and pay somewhere else today.

What it is not. It is not a number we invented to make a discount look larger. It is not a price we ourselves once charged. It is not a manufacturer's suggested retail price, unless the listing explicitly says “MSRP” — a suggested price is not the same thing as a price anyone is actually charging, and we do not blur the two. It is not a one-off price from an unrepresentative or obscure seller, and it is not a temporary flash-sale price running in the opposite direction.

How we verify it. Before an item is listed, we check the same product at mainstream United States retailers and record the retailer, the exact listing, the price, and the date we checked it. Where prices differ between reputable sellers, we use a price that is representative of what the product commonly sells for, not the highest one we can find.

How often we re-check. We re-verify comparison prices at least every 30 days for every item currently listed, and again whenever an item is relisted. If we can no longer verify a comparison price, we remove it rather than leave it standing. If the market price has fallen, we lower the comparison figure, even where that makes our own saving look smaller.

What we cannot promise. Retail prices move constantly. A price we verified this week may change tomorrow, and a comparison shown on our site may be out of date by the time you read it, through no fault of anyone. This is precisely why we tell you to check.

Please do check. We would genuinely rather you looked a price up before you bought than took our word for it. A saving you verified yourself is worth more than one we simply asserted. If you find a comparison price on this site that you believe is wrong or stale, email us and we will look at it and correct it if you are right.

6. Prices, errors and payment

All prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where it applies.

We try hard to price correctly, but errors happen. Where an item is listed at a clearly incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after the order is confirmed. We will contact you rather than simply cancelling in silence.

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details.

7. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges receipt; the contract is formed when we dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order — for example where stock has sold out, where we suspect fraud, where the quantity looks like resale of a retail-only line, or where a pricing error has occurred. If we cancel, you are refunded in full.

8. Returns, refunds and shipping

Returns are covered by our Return and Refund Policy, and delivery by our Shipping Policy. Both form part of these terms.

9. Cosmetics: use them sensibly

Beauty products are not medical products, and nothing on this site is medical advice.

• Read the manufacturer's instructions and ingredient list before use.
• Patch test anything new, particularly if you have sensitive skin or known allergies.
• Stop using a product if you react to it, and seek medical advice if a reaction is severe.

We sell products as supplied by their manufacturers and do not reformulate anything. We are not responsible for an individual reaction to an ingredient that is correctly listed on the packaging. If a product is faulty, expired on arrival, or not what the label says, that is ours and the Refund Policy covers it.

10. Wholesale and trade

Wholesale lines are shown for enquiry only and cannot be bought through the checkout. Trade pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times and payment terms are agreed by quotation, and a quotation is valid for the period stated on it.

Trade customers are responsible for their own resale, tax and licensing obligations, including providing a valid resale certificate where one is required. Products supplied for resale must be sold in their original, unaltered retail packaging.

11. Using this site

Please do not attempt to break, scrape at scale, overload or gain unauthorised access to this site, use it to break the law, or place orders using someone else's payment details. The site's text, photographs and design are ours or our suppliers', and brand names and trade marks belong to their owners. Naming a brand we stock does not imply that brand endorses us.

12. Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some states do not allow certain exclusions, and where that is the case those exclusions do not apply to you.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts of Fayette County, Georgia.

Before that, please email us. Almost everything is solved faster by a conversation than by a filing, and we would rather fix a problem than win an argument about it.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version always sits on this page with its date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site. Your order is governed by the terms in force on the day you placed it.
